Delete Your Pray Board Account

Request permanent deletion of your Pray Board account and its data

Pray Board is developed by Manpa Dev LLC. This page explains how to request that your Pray Board account and its associated data be permanently deleted.

If you still have the app installed

You can delete your account yourself, immediately, without contacting us:

  1. Open Pray Board and go to the Account screen
  2. Tap Delete Account
  3. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm

Your account and all of the data listed below are deleted right away. If you have already uninstalled the app, use the email request below instead.

If you no longer have the app

    Email us at support@manpadev.com

    Send an email to support@manpadev.com with the subject Delete My Pray Board Account. You can send this from any email address — it does not need to match the address on your account.

    Include the following details

    • Your username (required) — The username you chose when you set up Pray Board. This is how we find your account.
    • How you sign in (required) — Apple or Google
    • The name of one of your Pray Boards — A second detail that helps us confirm the account is yours.
    • The email address on your account, if you know it — Optional. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, you will not know this address — that is expected, and you do not need it.

    You do not need an account number or ID.

    Include the confirmation phrase

    Write DELETE MY ACCOUNT in the body of your email. This makes sure we never delete an account by mistake.

    Confirm from the inbox you sign in with

    Within 7 days we will send a confirmation code to the email address registered to your account, and you reply with that code. If you signed in with Apple using Hide My Email, Apple forwards this to your real inbox automatically — you do not need to know your private relay address. Once you confirm, your account is deleted within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your deletion request is completed, the following are permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

  • Your account and profile, including your username and preferences
  • All of your personal prayer boards, with their boxes and prayer items
  • Every prayer you added to a shared board, including boards owned by other people
  • All of your journal entries, and every journal entry written about one of your prayers
  • Your board layouts, themes, custom backgrounds, and custom stickers, including the uploaded image files
  • Your membership in shared prayer boards, and any invitations you sent or received
  • Your prayer reminders, notification history, and prayer streak history
  • Your sign-in record with our authentication provider

What is kept, and for how long

  • Purchase and subscription records

    Retained for up to 7 years where we are required to keep them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. These records are stripped of anything that identifies you and are not used to contact or recognize you after deletion.

  • Abuse and moderation records

    If you reported another member, or were reported, that record is kept so we can keep the community safe. It no longer identifies you once your account is deleted.

  • Backup copies

    Residual copies may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 35 days before being overwritten on our normal backup rotation.

What happens to shared boards

Shared boards are not deleted along with your account. If you own one, it passes to another member the same way it would if you simply left the board:

  • A moderator becomes the new owner. If there is no moderator, the longest-standing member with a paid subscription takes over.
  • If no member is eligible, the board carries on without an owner. Everyone keeps access to it, but no one can edit or customise it until someone becomes the owner.
  • A shared board with no other members on it is deleted, since nobody is left to hand it to.

Either way your own prayers are removed from the board, along with every journal entry written about them — including entries written by other members. Prayers added by everyone else stay exactly as they are. Any background, stickers, or theme you added are removed too, and the board returns to its default appearance.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid Pray Board subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and must be cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Please cancel there before requesting deletion, or you may continue to be charged.
