Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your display name

We also collect the content you choose to create in the app, including prayers, written entries, and any photos you choose to upload as prayer board backgrounds or stickers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Store and display your prayers and entries
• Enable sharing features when you choose to use them
• Maintain and improve the app

We do not use your information for advertising.

User-Generated Content and Sharing

• The app allows you to write prayers and personal reflections
• Content you create is private by default, unless you choose to share it
• If you add a prayer or request to a shared prayer board, it is visible to the other members of that board
• You are responsible for the content you choose to share
• We do not make private content public without your permission

Photos You Upload

Pray Board lets you personalize a prayer board with your own photos — setting a picture as a board background, or turning one into a sticker. This is entirely optional, and the app works fully without it.

• We only ever receive the specific photo you select. The app cannot browse, scan, or read the rest of your photo library, and it never uses your camera
• Photos are re-encoded when you upload them. This removes metadata that cameras embed in image files, including the GPS location where the photo was taken
• Uploaded photos are stored in private cloud storage. They are not published to the web, and they have no public link — every request for one goes through our servers and requires you to be signed in
• A photo you upload is visible only to you, unless you place it on a shared prayer board, in which case the members of that board can see it
• When you delete a photo, or delete your account, the image file itself is deleted from storage — not just hidden in the app

We never use your photos to train models, we do not send them to any third-party service, and we do not use them for advertising.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We only share data when necessary to operate the app, such as:

• Authentication services provided by Apple or Google
• Secure hosting and storage providers

Data Storage and Security

Your data is held in managed cloud infrastructure operated by Microsoft Azure, in the United States. Practically, that means:

• Everything sent between the app and our servers travels over an encrypted connection
• Your prayers, journal entries, and uploaded photos are stored in private storage that is not reachable from the public internet
• Every request for your content requires a valid sign-in, and returns only content belonging to you or to a prayer board you are a member of
• Sign-in is handled by Apple and Google. We never see, receive, or store your Apple or Google password

We take these measures seriously because prayer content is personal. That said, no system can guarantee absolute security, and we will not claim otherwise.

Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and everything in it at any time, directly in the app: open the menu, go to Account, and choose Delete Account.

If you have already uninstalled the app, you can request deletion at manpadev.com/prayboard/delete-account, or by emailing support@manpadev.com.

Deletion is permanent and is not a deactivation. It removes your prayers and entries, your journal, your prayer boards, your board memberships and invitations, any photos you uploaded, your preferences, and your sign-in record. Nothing is recoverable afterwards.

Content you added to a shared prayer board can be removed by you at any time within the app, and is deleted along with everything else when you delete your account.

Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. Users may share prayer content with people they invite to a shared prayer board. That content is visible only to the members of that board — the app has no public feed, no content discovery, and no way to see content from people you have not invited or been invited by. Because the app allows sharing personal content with others, we believe it is not appropriate for children under 13.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it
• Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information should contact us immediately

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved in accordance with U.S. law.

International Users

If you access the app from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
